ACOUSTIC REPORTS
WHY DO I NEED AN ACOUSTIC REPORT? An acoustic report is typically required by various collaborators depending on the context of the project. Collaborators can include:

WHAT IS AN ACOUSTIC REPORT?
Acoustic reports are documents that outline the acoustical properties of a particular space or environment. These reports are used to evaluate and measure the noise levels of a space and the potential issues related to acoustics. Acoustic reports also evaluate building elements and their sound capabilities such as:
|
These capabilities refer to the structural elements' ability to absorb sound. Our team develop acoustic reports outlining the acoustic qualities of a space and recommend acoustic improvements such as (but not limited to) additional insulation, door/window seals or specific wall lining.
Reports can also be written for proposed developments. Our team measure environmental noise where the proposed development will be. A report will then outline the possibly effects of environmental noise on the proposed development and make suggestions such as the use of specific glazing, insulation or wall cladding.
